The player auction for BGMEA Cup 2026 was held on September 19 at the BGMEA Complex in Dhaka, giving participating teams an exciting opportunity to strengthen their squads ahead of the tournament.

The auction ceremony was attended by BGMEA Vice President (Finance) Mijanur Rahman; BGMEA Director and Director-in-Charge of the Sports Committee Shah Rayeed Chowdhury; Sports Committee Chairman Shajjad Ali Khan; Sports Committee Adviser Fakir Kamruzzaman Nahid; Sports Committee Co-Chairs Akbor Haider Munna and Kazi Nazmul Hasan; and BGMEA Cup 2026 Organizer Ahmad Borno, along with the owners of the participating teams and the players.

The BGMEA Cup 2026 will bring together middle- and top-management professionals from 16 prominent garment factories across Bangladesh for an exciting 8-a-side football tournament, celebrating sportsmanship, teamwork and camaraderie across the RMG industry.
